Tryouts Are Now Open
Spartans Natomas is holding open tryouts for the 2026–2027 season. We're looking for competitive, coachable boys who want to develop as players and compete at the NorCal Soccer level under Fruitridge Soccer Club.
Spots are limited. Come ready to work hard, show your skills, and be part of something real.

Tryout Requirements
- Boys born between August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015 (U12 eligible)
- Shin guards and cleats required
- Bring your own water bottle
- Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in
- No prior competitive experience required
- Parents/guardians must be present at check-in

This tryout is for boys born in 2014 or 2015, competing in the U12 division under NorCal Soccer.
Do players need prior competitive experience?
No. We welcome players from recreational leagues and first-time competitive players. We evaluate attitude, effort, and potential — not just current skill level.
How much does the program cost?
We keep our fees fair and transparent for Natomas families. Full cost details are shared after tryouts. There are no hidden fees.
When will players hear back?
Families will be notified within 5 business days of their tryout session with a decision and next steps.
Can my son attend more than one session?
Yes — attending multiple sessions can only help. Let us know at check-in if your son has already attended a previous session.
